Description: Streaked warbler with short tail.
Adult: Off-white supercilium; black lateral crown stripes and eyestripe. Gray-brown with dark streaks above; red-brown rump.
Juvenile: Band of small spots across breast.
Similar Species: Moustached Warbler.
Behavior: Sings from top of bush or in display-flight.
Habitat: Marshes, sedge meadows.
Food: Invertebrates.
Nest: Cup of grass woven into shrub or tall plant.
Eggs: 18 mm, 5-6, olive-brown, dark green spots.
