Length:12-13 cm, Wing Span:15-16.5 cm

Description: Small with bold head pattern. Black-brown crown and gray-brown ear coverts; white supercilium. Orange-brown upperparts, flanks and breast side (paler and grayer in summer), dark streaks on back.
Similar Species: Differs from Sedge Warbler by entirely dark crown and redder tone to upperparts.
Behavior: Feeds low in vegetation, usually staying over water, and often holding tail cocked.
Habitat: Marshes.
Food: Invertebrates.
