Length:12 cm, Wing Span:20-23 cm

Description: Black wings show two yellow wingbars. Yellow patches at base of outertail feathers. Male has black cap and chin, green back, and whitish undertail coverts. Female is duller and more streaked, lacking the black chin and cap of the male.
Behavior: Small groups of 2-3 birds occur in winter. Usually noisy and often perches on outer ends of branches to feed.
Habitat: Forest, orchards.
Food: Seeds.
