Length:21 cm, Wing Span:33-34.5 cm

Description: Brown above, white with dark streaks below, red flanks and underwing coverts. Bold white supercilium and mustache, variably tinted with pale brown-yellow.
Similar Species: Differs from other thrushes by red flanks and pale supercilium.
Behavior: Often occurs in flocks of other thrushes, especially Fieldfares. Feeds in or under low scrub or tree, and along the edges of fields. Migrates at night.
Habitat: Open woodlands, orchards, scrub thickets.
Food: Invertebrates, seeds, berries.
