Description:	Rounded body, very long tail, and white stripe on closed outerwing.
Adult:	Pale brown above. Male: gray head with black mustache and undertail coverts. Female: browner overall, lacking black mustache and undertail coverts.
Juvenile:	Yellowish overall; dark lores and black stripe down center of back.
Behavior:	Gregarious. Makes short low bouncing flights. Very agile in reeds.
Habitat:	Reedbeds.
Food:	Invertebrates, seeds.
Nest:	Deep cup of leaves and reed heads, low in dense vegetation.
Eggs:	18 mm, 4-8, white, dark brown spots.
