Resident Status: Casual
Length:30-36 cm, Wing Span:60-70 cm
Distribution Map: Map 40.
Description: Size, shape, and color pattern similar to Levant Sparrowhawk, but slightly smaller with vertical throat stripe, and blunter less contrasting dark wingtips. Male lighter gray; female darker brown.
Juvenile: In flight, juvenile shows at least 6 bands on the undertail.
Habitat: Steppe, farmland.
Food: Small vertebrates, insects.
